This shot has been in the same position on my desktop for over a month now. So simple but so killer. I've been on a manhunt for worn in leather belts and ties to wear low-slung around my waist in multiples with uber-thin knits...and it ain't easy.

I guess Southern California is getting warm or whatever...but then I'm sure it will rain...then get warm again...either way it will eventually get warm indefinitely.
To be honest, it actually sounds nice. Granted I'll have to shave my legs...but I'm down. Anyhow: I'm mentally and emotionally preparing for warm weather. Either that or a sunny vaca.

I've been addictively reading Barbara Kingsolver books for a couple years now, my most recent conquest being Animal Dreams, and you have to read, or you had to read I suppose since I'm sure you read it before scrolling down to this text, this beautiful excerpt from her exceptional novel.

My Mah just discovered this precious relic from mine and my kid brother's childhood. Needless to say, that little ninny never dared to refer to me as a butthead ever again.

Jennifer Lawrence. Apparently she's been everywhere and I just haven't noticed...she sort of captivated me with her understated beauty and strength in Winter's Bone. I just found her exquisite for some reason (and I think it's pretty apparent they weren't exactly trying to make the girl look that great in the film).
So obviously I spent a solid hour google imaging her. She's really somethin else.

Basically just went on a street style image shopping adventure over at Stockholm StreetStyle after a long absence from the site. Sometimes I just forget about a blog or website entirely, re-discover it after a month, and have a fracking field day looking though about 20 pages of posts.
It's kind of like waiting until a whole season of Dexter comes out on DVD and then just blowing through it in 48 hours, wearing the same pair of underwear for two days and only getting off the couch to grab another bag of hot cheetos....
But back to my main point. People are wearing some good shiz man. It's all becoming a little less mundane and a little more personal and exciting, iddin' it? And ps, if you hadn't noticed, I think leather is in.
